Senior Information Technology Assistant

We are seeking a proactive, organized professional with an interest in technology to provide technical support and maintenance for the institution's IT resources. The candidate will be responsible for assisting users, supporting the IT team with infrastructure-related tasks, and contributing to the proper functioning of equipment and systems used across academic and administrative departments of the university. If you are passionate about technology, user support, and professional growth within a collaborative and dynamic environment, this opportunity may be right for you! **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computers and IT equipment; * Respond to service requests and provide technical support to university users; * Assist in organizing and maintaining the institution's computer fleet; * Configure software, applications, and technological resources used by the university; * Support the IT team in infrastructure and technical support tasks; * Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and technological resources used in academic and administrative departments. **Requirements and qualifications** * Currently enrolled in or holding a Technical Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields; * Minimum age of 18 years; * Knowledge of hardware maintenance; * Knowledge of installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems; * Familiarity with Google Platform applications; * Availability for on-campus work at the Ijuí Campus; * Availability to work 38 hours per week, afternoon and evening shifts, Monday through Friday.  **Desirable:** * Additional courses in technical support, infrastructure, or computer maintenance; * Basic knowledge of computer networks; * Familiarity with technical support and assistance tools; * IT certifications will be considered as advantages. **Additional information** * Position: Assistant II * Workload: 38 hours per week — Afternoon and evening shifts, Monday through Friday. * Remuneration: R$2\.500,00 * Benefits: Subsidized in-house dental plan, health insurance subsidy, education discount, and childcare allowance.
