Wash, cut, and portion fish, vegetables, and other ingredients. Help prepare Japanese rice (shari) and sauces. Organize and sort orders for the sushi chef. Support the assembly of simple dishes. Sanitize utensils, equipment, and work areas. Monitor food expiration dates and ensure proper storage. Keep the kitchen clean and organized. Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety standards. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Culinary Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the tasks in this position. High school diploma required.
