Job Summary: A Boiler Operator is responsible for preparing and supplying materials, monitoring wood combustion, operating boilers, controlling water level, temperature, and pressure, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and proper functioning. Here, everyone is welcome! “This position is also open to persons with disabilities or rehabilitated individuals.” **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepare, sort, and supply materials for boiler operation; Monitor wood combustion, ensuring appropriate furnace feed to maintain stable pressure and temperature; Continuously read pressure gauges, thermometers, and control panels to verify that steam pressure and water level remain within safe limits; Operate boilers and handle valves and dampers; Control water level, temperature, and pressure; Analyze and control water quality (pH and hardness levels) to prevent corrosion and scale formation inside the boiler; Clean valves, piping, blowdown devices, and perform minor lubrication and repairs to prevent leaks and system failures; Inspect and periodically test safety systems; Monitor firewood stock and record consumption; Perform cleaning of equipment and work area; Complete and keep departmental control forms updated; Strictly follow safety procedures and regulations; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * NR 13 training – Boiler Operator (desirable); * Prior experience in this role; * Work schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:48 PM, Monday to Saturday. **Additional Information** Please review our benefits below: National Unimed Health Plan (ward or private room); AMIL Dental Plan (basic, intermediate, and executive tiers); Meal Voucher or Company Restaurant; Food Allowance; Scholarship Program (subject to policy and eligibility); Discounts with educational institutions; Pharmacy Benefits Program; Life Insurance; Christmas Basket; Pregnancy Support Program; Pet Day; Commemorative Gifts; Wellhub/Gympass; Wellz (Mental Health Benefit).
