Job Summary: The Yard Controller operates on-site to manage vehicle and personnel traffic, organize yard areas, and enforce safety protocols in logistics. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures operational discipline and maintains good relationships with drivers **We are looking for highly organized individuals who excel at goal achievement!** The **Logistics Department** ensures the **organization, efficiency, and smooth flow of logistics operations**, including internal material handling, access control, and yard organization—supporting receiving, shipping, and operational activities. The **Yard Controller** performs an **operational role**, responsible for **managing vehicle and personnel traffic**, organizing loading and unloading areas, and enforcing safety procedures—thereby contributing to **operational agility**, **risk reduction**, and **standardization of the unit’s logistics processes**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and control access and movement of vehicles (trucks, trailers, light vehicles, and service providers) within the unit’s yard; * Guide drivers on safety rules, internal traffic flow, and loading/unloading areas; * Supervise vehicle positioning at docks to ensure proper space utilization and adherence to logistics scheduling; * Record vehicle entry, exit, and dwell time according to internal procedures; * Monitor compliance with safety standards, use of PPE, and yard signage; * Support yard organization by preventing obstructions, operational hazards, and behavioral deviations; * Immediately report hazardous situations, accidents, near-misses, or non-conformities; * Support internal and external audits, ensuring yard organization and regulatory compliance; * Contribute to continuous improvement of yard control and organization processes; * Maintain operational discipline, organization, and positive relationships with drivers and transportation companies. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What is essential for us:** * Completed high school education; * Technical or vocational training in Logistics, Operations, or Safety is desirable; * Prior experience in: Yard control, Operational logistics, Industrial gatehouse operations; * Basic knowledge of logistics flow and industrial signage. **Additional Information** **Work Location:** Camaçari \- BA **Working Hours:** 8:00 AM to 5:48 PM, Monday through Friday **Benefits:** * Meal allowance; * Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack; * Profit-sharing program (PPR); * Life insurance; * Health and dental plans for you and your dependents; * Psychosocial support; * Wellhub wellness program membership; * School supplies kit for children aged 2–14; * We invest in your workplace well-being: Game room and rest area; * Oh—and you’ll receive a birthday gift!
