During the talent pool validity period, candidates may be called for positions in other units within the same region, with possible changes to benefits, schedules, or working hours, as needed. What We Expect From You? Desired Profile: * Required academic qualification: Completed undergraduate degree. * Main responsibilities: Manage and organize the library collection through planning, user service, maintenance, statistical control, activity reporting, project development, and supervision of staff and/or interns. Control, execute, and evaluate services related to acquisition, technical processing, weeding, storage, and availability of the institution's documentary collection. Disseminate information to facilitate access to knowledge. Monitor the entry and exit of books and other materials available for loan, performing analysis and verification. Classify and compile catalogs of books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials. Prepare books and periodicals for restoration or binding. Research works and publications, recommending their acquisition. Assess the library's needs and liaise with publishers for material procurement. Inform users about book titles and topics of interest. Provide support to all libraries within the organization. Assist faculty and students in research, guiding them according to the subject matter. Conduct training sessions to prepare library staff. Analyze and issue technical opinions and managerial reports. Maintain the library collection—or any other institutional collection—up-to-date. Participate in computerization efforts, updating databases and ensuring information integrity. Conduct studies and propose improvements to area processes. * Mandatory experience: Minimum of 6 months documented experience in the field. * Technical Competencies: Knowledge of ABNT standards. Proficiency in computerized library management systems. Basic computer skills.
