We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent, and authentic in everything we do. **Job Description** * Perform bends at various angles on a press brake * Operate 3- and 4-roll calenders for calendering parts, tubes, and conical frustums * Straighten parts made from various materials, geometries, and thicknesses * Fabricate radius templates for parts using reverse engineering on products for refurbishment * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area * Ensure proper use of equipment * Monitor, handle, and maintain bending tools * Record production data * Comply with company safety regulations * Fulfill responsibilities outlined in your Duty of Care (a document addressing individual and collective commitment to Health and Safety) * Safety first: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors in support of our effort to develop a world-class safety culture. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals; * Knowledge of basic metrology * Minimum 2 years’ experience operating hydraulic press brakes and 3- and 4-roll calenders. **Preferred:** * Technical course in mechanical engineering Founded in 1871, Weir is a global engineering leader focused on making mining operations smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable.
