General Construction Manager

Description

A construction company operating in the residential segment seeks a General Construction Manager to lead residential developments under the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, ensuring operational excellence, on-time delivery, cost control, construction quality, and operational safety. The professional will be responsible for integrated site management, leadership of engineering and field teams, physical\-financial monitoring of projects, and strategic interface with senior management, suppliers, clients, and relevant regulatory bodies. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Simultaneously manage multiple residential construction projects in the economic/residential segment; * Ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and productivity targets; * Implement and monitor operational performance, quality, safety, and cost indicators; * Coordinate executive planning, procurement, and site mobilization; * Ensure compliance with technical standards, legal requirements, and company quality standards; * Perform physical\-financial control of developments; * Manage contracts with contractors and suppliers; * Conduct progress meetings with senior management and corporate departments; * Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies; * Identify opportunities to improve productivity and optimize construction processes; * Support handover, inspection, and post-construction activities; * Develop and train site operational leaders. ### **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; * Proven experience managing large-scale residential construction projects; * Experience in the Minha Casa Minha Vida / affordable housing segment; * Experience managing multiple construction sites simultaneously; * Knowledge of physical\-financial planning and budgetary control; * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams; * Proficiency in construction performance indicators; * Willingness to travel and conduct on-site project oversight. ### **Behavioral Profile** * Leadership and team management; * Strategic vision and results orientation; * Strong planning and organizational skills; * Analytical mindset and indicator-driven approach; * Effective communication and negotiation skills; * Ability to make decisions in dynamic environments; * Owner mentality and high execution capability.
