PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Description

Perform a series of fundamental tasks for the manufacturing process, such as cutting, coiling, and packaging hoses; assembling kits; and feeding granular material into machines. Additionally, perform activities including equipment cleaning and maintenance; identification of non-conformities; organization of the work environment; and completion of production reports. Assist in activities such as cutting, coiling, and packaging hoses; **Kit placement:** nozzles, labels, and tags on production lines; Feed machinery with granular material; Clean the extrusion head and replace filters during setup; Replace the distributor and hoverley wires; Assist in identifying non-conformities; Assist machine operators in their tasks; Place hoses onto pallets in an organized manner and deliver them to the Logistics area; Complete production reports relevant to Production Orders (POs); Package hoses, verifying meter length to ensure correct quantities per specified standards; Inspect hoses for holes by inserting a calibrator into their internal diameter to comply with quality standards; Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and clean tubs, machines, and equipment whenever necessary; Collect hose scrap and deliver it to the mill; Rework hoses with dimensional variations, remaking them when defective; perform measurement, cutting, coiling, packaging, and labeling; Cut LPG hoses according to technical standards (length); Assemble hoses for washing machines, including cutting hoses, attaching nozzles, labeling, and packaging; Complete production reports following parameters such as start time, end time, stoppages, and quantities produced for production quality control; Monitor roll weight every 30 minutes; **Scrap control:** Collect hoses with abnormalities, weigh them, and send them to the mill for reprocessing whenever necessary.
