The company has **2\.850 professionals** and an international network of **56 subsidiaries and branch offices in 22 countries**, ensuring its clients receive fast, customized solutions. **Job Description** Role Description: Work in the Functional Safety area, ensuring the integrity of automotive electronic systems through ISO 26262, preventing critical failures that compromise safety, thereby enabling complex technologies while balancing innovation and advanced functionalities with maximum protection for vehicle occupants. Lead risk analyses (FMEA/FTA) and define rigorous technical requirements, ensuring the vehicle maintains a safe state even under fault conditions. Coordinate the development lifecycle, conducting audits and validation processes to ensure compliance with automotive industry functional safety standards. Responsibilities: * Perform hazard analysis, define Safety Goals, and identify operational assumptions when required. * Define and implement Functional Safety Requirements for each Safety Goal. * Conduct and moderate safety analyses, such as FMEA and FTA. * Derive Technical Safety Requirements. * Perform confirmation reviews and support verification reviews to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards. * Define safety validation specifications and reports. * Contribute to functional safety audits and assessments. * Support implementation of the functional safety process within the organization (creation and/or optimization of models, guidelines, and checklists). **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering / Automotive Electronics / Computer Science / Embedded Systems or related field. * Solid knowledge of and familiarity with ISO 26262 work products. * 3–5 years of experience in the automotive environment (OEM / Tier Supplier / Engineering Service Provider). * Good understanding of automotive systems. Desirable Competencies: * Familiarity with Requirements Management tools (Polarion, RATIONAL Doors). * Familiarity with document and activity issue tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence). * Familiarity with process and activity automation tools (RATIONAL Synergy, TortoiseSVN, Microsoft SharePoint). * Familiarity with safety analysis tools (Ansys Medini, APIS\-IQ). * Familiarity with standard office suites (MS Office, Outlook). **Additional Information** Applus IDIADA is committed to **equality,** **diversity** and **inclusion**.
