Join us!** We seek a **Senior ABAP Developer** to support the **implementation and technical execution phase** of system adaptations mandated by the **Brazilian Tax Reform**, at a company in the **food industry sector**. This role begins **after the discovery phase**, which has already been conducted by a specialized **tax and fiscal consulting firm**, and requires the professional to **translate functional specifications and fiscal guidelines into ABAP technical solutions**, ensuring legal compliance, performance, and stability in high-volume industrial environments. ### **Project Context** * **Fiscal and tax discovery completed** (CBS / IBS scenarios, legal assumptions, and tax rules). * Availability of **fiscal blueprints, business rules, and functional specifications**. * Current phase focuses on: + ABAP development + Adjustments to standard and custom programs + Fiscal and financial integrations + Testing, cutover, and stabilization * Environment featuring **industrial operations, multiple plants, and high transactional volume**. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and adjust **ABAP solutions** related to the **Brazilian Tax Reform**. * Implement technical changes derived from **fiscal discovery guidelines**. * Adapt programs impacted by **CBS / IBS**, tax credits, and new accounting rules. * Develop and maintain **User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and Z-programs**. * Work on integrations with **fiscal engines** and satellite systems. * Develop and adjust **BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, REST/OData APIs**. * Create and maintain **ALV reports, forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms)**. * Perform **advanced debugging**, dump analysis, and performance corrections. * Support **FI/CO, MM, SD, and Tax consultants** in technical implementation. * Participate in **integrated testing (SIT/UAT)** and **cutover and go-live activities**. * Ensure stability and performance in **industrial and audited environments**. ### **Mandatory Requirements** * Solid experience as an **ABAP Developer**. * Practical experience in **Brazilian Tax Reform projects**. * Experience in **industrial environments**, preferably in the **food industry**. * Proficiency in: + **Classic and OO ABAP** + **Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs** + **ALV, SmartForms / Adobe Forms** + **Advanced debugging and dump analysis** * Experience integrating with **FI, CO, MM, and SD**. * Knowledge of **Brazilian indirect taxation**. * Experience with **SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA**. ### **Desirable Requirements** * Experience with **ABAP for S/4HANA** (CDS Views, AMDP, optimized Open SQL). * Knowledge of **SAP DRC, TDF, or third-party fiscal engines**. * Experience with **industrial costing** (Material Ledger, variances). * Familiarity with **SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite**. * Experience in **performance tuning** for high-volume environments. * Technical English. ### **Strategic Differentiators** * Experience in **post-fiscal-discovery structural programs**. * Experience in **industrial plants, multiple branches, and continuous operations**. * Ability to serve as the **ABAP technical reference in tax squads**. * Experience in **migration or conversion to S/4HANA**. * Strong ability to read and interpret **fiscal and accounting functional specifications (FS)**.
