MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Description

Job Summary: Support for preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, lubrication, warehouse control, and management of materials and waste. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on organization and environmental sustainability Assist mechanics and electricians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment, as well as supporting routine inspections to diagnose machine condition and adjust alignment. Also provide support for equipment lubrication, adjustment, and calibration, record interventions, and request materials to prevent delays. Responsible for warehouse control, receipt and dispatch of parts, and monitoring suppliers and service providers. Perform tasks such as reading technical drawings, closing work orders, and maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization, including waste segregation for recycling per established environmental regulations. Assist mechanics and electricians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment; Assist in conducting routine departmental inspections to diagnose the conservation status and operational condition of company machines, verifying and adjusting alignment; Assist in lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations of all mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment according to each machine's specifications, using appropriate instruments; Record required information after completing work orders, including repairs performed, equipment, parts, and tools used; Request procurement of materials, tools, and supplies to avoid delays and interruptions in maintenance services; Control maintenance warehouse parts and tools, issuing requests in the TOTVS system; Receive maintenance parts and materials, verifying purchase requests and invoices against received items; Perform procedures for dispatching machines and equipment for external repair; Assist in reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic drawings and electrical diagrams; Monitor suppliers and service providers; Close work orders in the TOTVS system, recording labor hours and parts used; Maintain department cleanliness and organization by labeling and properly storing materials; Segregate waste (cardboard, metals, and unsuitable electrical materials) for recycling to maintain department organization and comply with protocols established by environmental regulations.
