Plan, schedule, monitor, and control the project schedules under your responsibility, tracking Planned vs. Actual performance of activities and project resources, and providing the Project Manager and their team with progress information, highlighting the most significant deviations, potential delays, and suggesting corrective actions to support decision-making. Monitor and track the receipt and dispatch of materials to our sub-suppliers; **Job Description** =================== Essential Responsibilities: **Planning:** * Thoroughly study the project scope, focusing on its Work Packages (deliverables) and the activities required for execution. * Develop the Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in collaboration with the Project Manager and Engineering Lead. * Perform project planning by developing a detailed project schedule, based on activity definition, duration, and sequencing. Similarly, ensure that project milestones—including standard ones (revenue recognition, invoicing, payment)—are properly incorporated into the schedule. * In coordination with the Project Manager, identify the project’s critical path and propose solutions for its execution. **Monitoring / Control:** * Monitor and control project progress across all phases: Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Commissioning—tracking physical progress and completion of project activities, as well as Sales and receipt events as planned. Likewise, monitor engineering hours allocated to the project, verify compliance with the plan, report deviations, and recommend corrective actions to the Project Manager when necessary. * Conduct internal interfaces to track planned activities (Planned vs. Actual), including Manufacturing and Procurement processes, flagging deviations, potential risks, and possible bottlenecks affecting project objectives. * Interface with suppliers to monitor equipment manufacturing and component delivery to them, where applicable. * Incorporate schedule changes and assess impacts from Change Orders agreed upon with the client. **Reporting:** * Update and communicate to the Project Manager the project execution status, Sales scheduling (revenue recognition), and billing/receipt events for the period. * Prepare physical progress curves and Progress Reports for clients, as well as internal reports, per contractual guidelines and frequency requirements. **Required Qualifications** * Education: Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering. * Intermediate/Advanced English * Basic Spanish (desirable) * Experience in planning or project management-related areas * Experience with Project Management tools (e.g., MS\-Project and/or Primavera, Project, Advanced Excel, and SAP). **Additional Information** ========================== **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No
