Application of safety standards and use of PPE **Description** An Electrical Technician is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing electrical systems, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of equipment and installations. This role involves preventive and corrective inspections, project development, electrical testing, and equipment parameterization, all in compliance with company standards and occupational safety regulations. **Main Responsibilities** * Strictly adhere to Quality Management guidelines and the company's Code of Conduct. * Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) provided by MPC, following all applicable safety standards. * Implement the 5S Program, keeping the work area and equipment clean and organized, thereby safeguarding company assets. * Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and instruments, requesting maintenance or calibration whenever necessary. * Perform tasks in accordance with training, instructions, and established procedures. * Comply with production planning as outlined in cell reports and team leader instructions. * Accurately enter maintenance information into the FAS system and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required. * Immediately report any incidents or failures during task execution to the responsible supervisor. * Undertake business travel as needed. **Generic Activities** * Assembly and connection of electrical systems, including distribution panels, cables, and equipment. * Conducting inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components, both preventively and reactively. * Designing electrical installation projects, considering technical standards, safety, and energy efficiency. * Applying safety standards in electrical installations and correctly using PPE. * Performing tests and measurements to ensure system and equipment quality. * Preparing technical reports, layout drawings, and other documentation related to installation and maintenance. **Segment-Specific Activities** * Disassembly and assembly of motors, generators, transformers, and substation yard equipment, including switchgear cubicles. * Performing electrical tests on motors, generators, and transformers. * Operating thermovacuum and vacuum pumps. * Operating super-dry air supply systems. * Performing preventive maintenance on substation yard equipment and switchgear cubicles. * Maintaining air conditioning systems and air drying centers. * Parameterizing frequency inverters, soft starters, and electronic controllers. **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Electrotechnology, Electronics, or related fields. * 6 months to 2 years of experience in this role. * Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to work quality.
