Active participation in the continuous improvement of clinical processes Description: * Bachelor's degree in Nursing * Postgraduate qualification in the field * Active and up-to-date registration with the Regional Nursing Council * Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite * Deliver nursing care while adhering to techniques and procedures according to patient needs, ensuring compliance of patient care processes; * Assess patients' clinical status and incidents from the previous shift to provide appropriate patient care and manage emergent situations; * Monitor patients' clinical assessments to better define required nursing interventions; * Conduct bed-side rounds and clinically assess patients, prescribing nursing care and/or requesting assistance from other professionals (e.g., physicians, nutritionists, psychologists); * Perform high-complexity nursing procedures including: insertion of indwelling urinary catheters (intermittent and retention), insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters, dressing changes for surgical wounds and pressure injuries, and management of invasive devices; * Define and perform, together with the nursing team, high-complexity procedures related to direct patient care, among other duties relevant to the position; * Monitor and administer medications via parenteral routes, especially parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy agents, ensuring procedural compliance; * Support the multidisciplinary team during high-complexity procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and invasive procedures; * Guide, monitor, and supervise activities performed by Nursing Technicians to prevent adverse events, clarify correct nursing techniques, and ensure quality and safety of care; * Ensure proper adherence to infection control measures to reduce healthcare-associated infection rates; * Conduct bedside care transitions, communicating and clarifying incidents in detail to ensure appropriate and necessary care; * Document incidents from the shift in the medical record and administrative report; * Complete discharge and transfer reports, detailing the patient's clinical status to ensure continuity of treatment; * Verify functionality of equipment used in patient care and notify the maintenance department accordingly; * Attend departmental meetings to remain updated on area-specific protocols; * Deliver continuing and specialized training after identifying learning needs, aiming to build team capacity and competence; * Participate in meetings with the Nursing Coordination team and specific working committees, e.g., skin lesions, enteral nutrition, healthcare-associated infection, and medical records, to exchange information and technical knowledge, resolve issues, and align actions; * Evaluate and identify needs for maintenance and replacement of medical-hospital, hydraulic, and hospitality materials and equipment, initiating necessary requests; * Ensure appropriate use of materials and equipment; * Supervise and monitor activities performed by material technicians and administrative assistants; * Manage bed allocation; * Participate in multiprofessional bedside rounds; \- Shift handover at the patient's bedside; * Report adverse events; * Mentor students and/or residents (preceptorship); * Critically analyze performance indicators and discuss data with coordination to improve clinical and administrative processes; \- Participate in and deliver training and guidance to the multidisciplinary team; * Provide written orientation regarding clinical risks to patients and their families; * Develop and contribute to institutional documents and protocols; * Perform other related tasks of equivalent complexity upon request from the immediate supervisor. 251024020220728063
