We are an innovation-driven company committed to discovering new active ingredients, product formulations, and application technologies. **About the Role:** In this position, the Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for physicochemical analyses in the quality control laboratory; release of raw materials; active ingredients; packaging materials; and finished products in SAP in Uberaba/MG. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform physicochemical analyses of finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials per ABNT standards, PI.GQ.0005, and applicable MAPA regulations. * Retention samples: Ensure organized, secure, and MAPA-compliant storage of retention samples. * Equipment calibration: Ensure calibration of critical equipment prior to use for quality control analyses. * Editing and revision of all Quality Control area documentation: Analytical Certificates, Technical Specifications, Analytical Methods, forms, Internal Procedures, Work Instructions, among others. * Evaluation of FMC and third-party products for resale originating from returns, as well as disposition of such products. Contact suppliers if necessary. * Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP): maintain controls and perform other activities ensuring traceability, compliance, and integrity of all data generated by the Quality Control area. * Management of ISO-critical equipment: Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance, and use only equipment in compliance with established requirements. * Critical analysis: diagnose root causes of failures and prepare analytical reports. Develop improvement solutions in collaboration with interfacing departments for identified issues. * Information and documentation management: organize all documentation pertinent to the Quality Control area: Analysis Certificates, Analysts’ Notebooks, Customer Documents (Tolling), Equipment Documents, and other area records including those stored in the Archive. * Ensure prevention of cross-contamination risk: lead related activities and audits, ensuring execution and effectiveness. Provide technical support for dissemination of related concepts. Lead preventive actions. * Safety critical analysis: ensure all activities in the Quality Control area are performed incorporating all HSE tools: Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Special Work Permits (SWP). * Comply with existing systems: meet all requirements of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and other company policies (HSE). **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in **Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy**. * Experience in a **Quality Control laboratory** within chemical or agrochemical industries. * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite**. * Knowledge of **SAP** (preferred). * Familiarity with **quality tools** (preferred). * Knowledge of **chromatography techniques** (preferred). * Advanced knowledge of **Quality Control tools**, including **Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)**, **Statistical Process Control (SPC)**, and **ISO 9001** (preferred).
