




**Responsibilities:** * Collect soil, leaf, root, and stool samples by walking throughout the entire farm area for laboratory analysis. * Cut sugarcane samples for delivery and technological quality analysis at the industrial laboratory. * Conduct quality sampling of agricultural operations (soil preparation, sugarcane planting, fertilization, pesticide application, irrigation, and sugarcane harvesting). * Monitor pests from early growth stages through to harvest maturity, manually cutting and splitting sugarcane stalks to check for pests and internal damage, removing all straw from the base of the plant to inspect for pests, digging holes and opening trenches in the soil manually to detect any pests. * Apply biological control agents by manually releasing natural enemies (Cotesia flavipes and Trichogramma galloi) to control pests. * Sample seedlings by walking throughout the entire farm area within sugarcane plots, manually counting, cutting, weighing, and splitting sugarcane stalks to check for pests and diseases, counting the number of viable buds, observing stem rot, cracks in the cane, and damaged internodes. * Re-cover sugarcane plants during planting that were not fully covered by mechanical planters, using manual tools (shovels). * Prepare sterile materials, solutions, culture media, and decontaminate equipment for use in quality control analyses. * Assist in the production, handling, and quality evaluation of biological control agents (fungi and bacteria) in the laboratory to ensure high-quality production. **Requirements:** * Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category B) desirable * Completed High School education Employment type: Full-time CLT
