**About the opportunity:** The Data Science team analyzes large volumes of data to propose solutions that reduce fraud and friction in authentication processes—such as account creation, login, and payments. We are seeking a senior professional to expand Incognia’s offerings with *data-driven* decisions, transforming raw data into actionable insights and predictive models. The team focuses on web technologies, with an emphasis on Web Fingerprinting. **Responsibilities:** * Understand fraud or friction problems faced by customers and propose solutions using heuristics and machine learning models * Analyze and resolve data quality and performance issues * Formulate and validate hypotheses through exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies * Monitor team solutions and performance to maintain data quality * Collaborate with team members and other departments—including business and engineering—to implement and validate proposed solutions **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields * Knowledge of scientific methodology * Professional experience with statistical concepts and data analysis * Professional experience with analytical tools such as Spark, Scala, Python, and MLFlow * Professional experience in Machine Learning * Experience with NLP or LLMs is a plus * Advanced English proficiency **About Incognia:** **Incognia** protects you against fraud and account takeovers in mobile apps.
