




Job Summary: Assist in food preparation while maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness, under supervision. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in food preparation and plating. 2. Assist in food preparation and in maintaining, cleaning, and organizing the workplace. Assist in washing vegetables and meats, cooking, and plating dishes, under the supervision of a cook or head chef. * Wash, peel, cut, grate, chop, and portion ingredients according to the head chef's instructions. * Assist with tasks such as boiling, baking, grilling, and frying foods (meats, cheeses, and vegetables), always following the cook's guidance. * Clean and sanitize utensils, equipment, tables, sinks, and countertops to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. * Keep ingredients and utensils organized and easily accessible to the entire team, optimizing workflow. * Check food expiration dates and report the need for restocking or discarding items from inventory. * Sweep, wash dishes, and perform general kitchen and adjacent area organization to maintain a clean workplace and prevent potential accidents. * Assist in plating and presenting dishes at service counters to improve customer visibility, following menu specifications and the responsible cook's instructions.
