You have the power to shape things to make them better. **About the Role** Alcoa is seeking an Electrical Inspection Technician to join our team at the Port unit in the Alumar Retroport area in São Luís do Maranhão. You will be responsible for performing sensitive and predictive inspections on industrial equipment to ensure asset integrity, operational reliability, facility and personnel safety, as well as compliance with applicable technical standards and legal requirements. **Other key responsibilities include:** * Perform sensitive inspections and predictive tests on industrial equipment related to the electrical discipline; * Analyze the condition of electrical infrastructure, lighting systems, protection systems, motors, panels, cables, and MCCs; * Identify and analyze failures, proposing effective technical solutions; * Issue technical reports identifying, recording, and classifying electrical non\-conformities, anomalies, and risks; * Open and track work orders, managing order execution, time logging, and follow\-ups; * Act preventively, contributing to reduced failures, unplanned shutdowns, and safety risks. **What You Can Bring to This Role:** * Education: Technical degree in Electrotechnics, Automation, Electronics, Electromechanics, or related fields, with an active CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians); * Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems; * Experience with sensitive and/or predictive inspections; * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and projects; * Preferred: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; * Preferred: Driver's License Category B; * Requirement: Availability to work rotating shifts (6x3) and/or administrative hours. **What We Offer:** * Safety is our top priority \- our days begin and end with it; * A values\-based company where “Caring for People” is at the core of everything we do; * Build a long\-term career across our local or global operations; * Join us in developing a diverse and inclusive culture; * Employee networks: AWN (Alcoa Women’s Network), EAGLE (Alcoa Employees for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Equality), AWARE (Alcoans Working Actively for Racial Equity), and ABLE (Alcoans Going Beyond Limiting Expectations). **Application Deadline: 03/27/2025** **Additional Information:** * You will only be contacted if selected for an interview; this process may take up to four weeks from the application deadline; * When applying, please remember to attach your resume. \#LI\-AV1**About the Location** The Alumar Consortium, managed by Alcoa, is located 25 kilometers from the center of São Luís \- MA and began operations in 1984\.
