We are looking for a talent to fill the position of **Senior Occupational Safety Engineer.** **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and Duties** **How You Will Contribute** Our Executive Occupational Safety Department is seeking new talents—and you could join this team as a **Senior Occupational Safety Engineer.** In this role, you will work at the **Equatorial Energia \- São Luís/MA** unit. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Developing, reviewing, and implementing the Risk Management Program (PGR). * Sizing and structuring the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA) and Fire Brigade, in accordance with Regulatory Standards and current legislation; conducting internal audits of branches, identifying non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions. * Supporting submission of occupational health and safety events to eSocial (especially S\-2240\). * Developing, evaluating, or reviewing technical specifications for contracting occupational health and safety services. * Preparing technical reports, control spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Investigating workplace accidents and preparing technical reports covering root causes and recommending preventive and corrective measures. * Participating in and contributing to the development and management of the Emergency Plan per the state Fire Department’s regulations; developing training, education, and awareness programs on occupational health and safety. * Advising the Occupational Safety Executive on accident trend analysis, dissemination, and action planning. * Participating in the preparation of terms of reference, technical specifications, and descriptive memoranda. * Managing SESMT communications via gov.com. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Completed undergraduate degree in any engineering discipline. * Completed postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering. * Experience in the electric power sector / electricity distribution. * Proficiency in *Excel* and *Power BI.* **Additional Information** **Why Apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company with a culture that values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
