About the Role: Alcoa is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Alumar unit in São Luís (MA), specifically working at the Reduction Plant. Responsibilities include: * Developing mechanical studies/projects to achieve the best technical and economic solution for a problem or improvement opportunity, meeting the requirements and needs of your operational area; * Calculating project costs by assessing labor, materials, manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair requirements to determine total expenditure; * Preparing project execution plans, drafting sketches and specifications, comparing budgets, specifying required materials and manufacturing methods, and defining work-stage schedules to guide implementation; * Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to meet established goals and deadlines through effective leadership and physical\-financial monitoring; * Contributing to project approvals and resource releases by preparing justifications and feasibility analyses; * Guiding designers and drafters on calculations, sizing, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with specifications and quality and safety standards. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Mandatory professional registration with the regulatory body: CREA; * Preferred: Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking); * Preferred: Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance; * Preferred: Solid experience in this role; * Willingness to relocate to São Luís\-MA.
