About the Opportunity: Alcoa is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Alumar facility in the Reduction area in São Luís, Maranhão, responsible for: * Coordinating corrective maintenance activities and electrical and/or mechanical maintenance services performed by teams under their supervision, ensuring operational areas achieve established production targets while maintaining standards of efficiency, low cost, safety, quality, and environmental protection; * Promoting team development and ensuring a harmonious work environment; * Aligning operational groups toward a common direction and collaborating with maintenance and planning departments to efficiently meet or exceed departmental and corporate objectives related to safety, health, environment, quality, and production—at minimum cost; * Leading EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs within their area of responsibility, ensuring achievement of company policy objectives through full engagement of direct and indirect reports and other stakeholders (e.g., contractors), aiming to reduce incident rates, improve employee health, and decrease environmental incidents; * Balancing operational maintenance interventions to maximize equipment availability; * Ensuring team commitment to the company’s safety, quality, and environmental control standards by adhering to operational routines, inspection procedures, and application of EHS tools (Environment, Health, and Safety). What You Can Bring to This Role: * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Preferred: Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking); * Experience in preventive maintenance and people management skills; * Safety-oriented and organized profile.
