About the Opportunity: Alcoa is seeking a Maintenance Project Manager to join our Reduction team at the Alumar facility in São Luís, Maranhão, responsible for: * Ensuring maintenance improvement activities in reduction operations through a technical team of mechanics and electricians, guaranteeing project requests and scopes are fulfilled according to required safety and quality standards; * Leading Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs within maintenance projects, ensuring achievement of the company’s policy objectives through full engagement of direct and indirect reports and others, aiming to reduce incident rates, improve employee health, and minimize incidents; * Ensuring proper project leveling for equipment improvements, expansions, and renovations, securing necessary resources for safe execution of activities; * Maintaining project history records, verifying that all work is performed under work orders managed by the system, and issuing activity reports; * Ensuring compliance with maintenance project audit processes whenever required by the company; * Leading departmental budget planning and control in accordance with the approved budget. What You Can Bring to This Role: * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; * Valid CREA registration (mandatory); * Preferred: Intermediate English (reading, writing, and speaking); * Proven experience in maintenance projects for industrial plants (improvement works, expansions, and renovations); * Preferred: Advanced computer skills.
