Job Description for Senior Accounting Analyst:
The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for recording accounting events for client companies, guiding them on correct procedures and best practices for excellent accounting organization, and delivering outputs promptly. This professional works under supervision, performing operational tasks and contributing to the preparation of accounting reports and financial statements.
Responsibilities:
* Timely perform accounting bookkeeping for companies and advise clients on adopted procedures and improvement practices for the accounting organization of the recorded entities;
* Prepare accounting reports, such as Balance Sheets and Financial Statements, and file them with the relevant state Commercial Registry;
* Submit accounting-tax obligations linked to accounting bookkeeping: SPED ACCOUNTING AND TAX;
* Organize, verify, and safeguard supporting documentation for accounting bookkeeping;
* Calculate federal taxes on profit: CSLL and IRPJ for companies under the Real Profit taxation regime;
* Ensure that accounting bookkeeping and fulfillment of ancillary obligations comply with applicable legislation, minimizing tax and accounting risks to the client;
* Respond to requests from external and internal auditors;
* Identify indicators for analyzing the accounting performance of companies;
* Provide client support upon request to resolve queries and/or issues related to their responsibilities;
* Participate in internal and external meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous improvement and achieve optimal results.
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting Sciences
* Prior experience as an Accounting Analyst
* Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
* Proficiency in financial control tools
* Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
