Monitor machine performance during production and prevent failures * ### **Job Description** Position: Mechanic (Apparel Manufacturing Industry) Job Description: Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on sewing machines and equipment across Confecções Vanelise facilities, ensuring full production line functionality, minimizing downtime, and guaranteeing quality and productivity. Main Responsibilities: Perform maintenance on industrial sewing machines (straight stitch, overlock, ribbon looper, interlock, and others); Identify and correct mechanical, electrical, and electro-pneumatic failures in equipment; Perform fine adjustments of stitch formation, thread tension, speed, and machine synchronization; Replace and adjust components such as needles, loopers, belts, motors, and sensors; Perform lubrication, technical cleaning, and equipment preservation; Install, assemble, and configure new sewing machines and auxiliary equipment; Monitor machine performance during production, preventing failures and quality losses; Support operators in proper equipment usage; Record performed maintenance activities and report component replacement needs; Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the factory environment. Requirements: Completed technical education in Electromechanics, Mechanics, or related fields; Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines (a significant advantage); Basic knowledge of pneumatics; Personal transportation. Competencies: Agility in resolving production-line problems; Attention to detail (stitch quality and finishing); Proactivity and sense of urgency; Organization and maintenance control; Good communication with operators and production teams.
