The role involves using interactive and contextual methodologies consistent with the BNCC, encouraging student autonomy, critical thinking, and intercultural communication. **Responsibilities:** * Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum matrix and BNCC guidelines. * Encourage the use of English in real-life contexts, with emphasis on oral fluency and listening comprehension. * Apply active methodologies and technological resources such as songs, videos, games, apps, and digital platforms. * Use authentic and diverse materials to develop linguistic competencies. * Assess students diagnostically, formatively, and summatively using varied instruments. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, class councils, continuous professional development sessions, and interdisciplinary projects. * Promote thematic events, conversation clubs, presentations, and cultural activities in English. * Use school-provided resources responsibly (e.g., Google Classroom, interactive whiteboard, maker space, etc.). * Foster respect for linguistic and cultural diversity, promoting empathy and global thinking. * Contribute to students’ ethical, civic, and critical development, encouraging conscious language use. * Maintain up-to-date files and documentation for organizational purposes and LGPD compliance. * Perform other duties relevant to the area as directed by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Languages with English specialization. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in English Language Teaching, Active Methodologies, or Bilingual Education.
