Work environment focused on well-being and balance **Job Description:** ---------------------- Perform welding services across different processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, shielded metal arc welding, and others), ensuring the joining and repair of metal parts according to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Contribute to the manufacturing and maintenance of structures, equipment, and metal components, ensuring precision, durability, and appropriate finish. 1\. Work Preparation and Organization Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and work orders. Prepare materials for welding (cutting, beveling, cleaning, and positioning). Select appropriate tools, consumables, and equipment for the process. 2\. Welding Execution Perform welding using processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG, shielded metal arc welding, or other processes used by the company. Adjust equipment settings (current, voltage, gas flow, machine calibration). Assemble, fix, and join metal parts according to technical specifications. Ensure weld bead quality (penetration, strength, and finish). 3\. Quality Control Verify dimensions, alignments, and squareness of parts. Conduct visual inspections and tests when required (e.g., liquid penetrant, dimensional inspection, etc.). Correct welding defects (rework) to ensure compliance with required standards. 4\. Maintenance and Organization Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment. Maintain an organized workplace, tools, and materials. Record production output, material requirements, and any non-conformities. 5\. Safety and Regulations Properly use PPE (welding helmet, respirator, gloves, apron, etc.). Comply with safety regulations, risk prevention measures, and environmental requirements. Safeguard equipment integrity and workplace safety. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Mandatory Proven experience in welding. Knowledge of at least one welding process: MIG/MAG, TIG, or shielded metal arc welding. Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Fundamental knowledge of metrology. **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Vocational welding training course. Welding certification (NR-18, NR-34, ASME, SENAI, etc.).
