**Key Responsibilities:** * **Monitoring and Control:** Monitor and adjust pumps, valves, compressors, and other equipment; control parameters such as flow rate, pH, pressure, and levels. * **Process Operation:** Carry out wastewater treatment steps (coagulation, flocculation, disinfection, etc.), operating systems continuously. * **Sampling and Analysis:** Collect water and effluent samples for quality testing and monitor test results. * **Maintenance:** Conduct visual and auditory inspections of equipment, ensure cleanliness and organization of the site, and request corrective maintenance. * **Chemical Dosing:** Prepare and dose chemicals (coagulants, flocculants, etc.) to optimize treatment. * **Recordkeeping and Reporting:** Record operational data and complete reports, documenting daily activities. * **Waste Management:** Monitor waste receipt and manage by-products, such as sludge. **Required Skills:** * Attention to detail and observational ability ("seeing with the eyes of observation") to identify faults. * Communication and teamwork. * Basic knowledge of chemical processes and machine operation. **Education:** * Generally requires completion of elementary education; however, vocational training in this field is highly valued. * Knowledge of occupational safety (NRs), wastewater treatment, and control panel operation (DCS) is an advantage.
