Join us in living the new! **ATTENTION: AXIA Energy does not charge fees for tests, examinations, or participation in the selection process.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Promote risk management by prioritizing, proposing, and establishing control measures to eliminate, neutralize, or minimize effects; * Carry out activities to comply with regulatory standards issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment and internal procedures of the Occupational Health and Safety area; * Collaborate with and provide technical support to other areas on matters related to health and safety; * Conduct field inspections to identify potential accident risks and existing unsafe conditions, proposing mitigating or risk-reduction actions; * Assume technical and legal responsibility for projects and reports prepared by the individual; * Design prevention programs for occupational accidents and diseases, such as the Risk Management Program (RMP) and the Occupational Health Medical Control Program (OHMCP), as well as wellness and quality-of-life programs. * Develop, plan, and monitor activities focused on safe behavior and establishment of a safety culture; * Participate in and provide technical support for investigations of incidents and safety-related deviations; * Ensure maintenance of the organization’s occupational health and safety management system through documentation, procedures, application of operational tools, training, communications, etc.; * Manage indicators, conduct analyses, and propose solutions to sustain performance outcomes; * Develop standard operating procedures to address risk situations, emergencies, and accident prevention. * Coordinate the occupational health and safety team; * Lead strategic projects in Occupational Health and Safety; * Lead workplace incident investigations, analyzing root causes, proposing measures to prevent recurrence, and monitoring the action plan jointly with the technical team. * Prepare managerial reports and presentations; **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Engineering degree with postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health and Safety * Ability to manage, lead, motivate, and influence people * Interpersonal skills, group communication, empathy, active listening, and assertiveness. * Work experience related to Safety, preferably in the energy sector—generation and transmission. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** At AXIA Energy, the well-being and quality of life of our people fuel the energy that drives us.
