We partner with business areas to identify challenges and opportunities, apply advanced data science techniques and best-in-class tools to deliver ML algorithms, intelligent rules, and analytical studies—focused on customer experience, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. We plan, develop, implement, maintain, monitor, and govern AI solutions applied to Fraud Prevention, AML/CFT, and Physical Security. Here, data becomes intelligence—and intelligence becomes action. Work model: Hybrid—2 days onsite Units: Osasco/SP and Curitiba/PR **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Scientist I, you will work within the Modeling Management team, and your main responsibilities will include: * Developing AI solutions for credit card fraud prevention; * Applying statistical and Machine Learning methodologies, Databricks, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and SAS; * Building or enhancing predictive models, quantitatively testing third-party solutions, and conducting analytical studies to support decision-making; * Collaborating closely with internal clients and Product Owners to refine requirements and ensure proper development execution. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related fields; postgraduate degree in Data Science, Big Data, or related areas; * Prior experience developing models; * Knowledge of Statistics and Machine Learning; * Proficiency in SQL and Python; * Basic knowledge of Databricks; * AZ-900 certification or equivalent; * Intermediate English proficiency.
