Accounting Analyst I

Job Summary: An accounting professional responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, monthly closings, preparation and analysis of ancillary obligations, and compliance with accounting standards. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with monthly accounting closings 2. Knowledge of accounting standards (CPCs/IFRS) 3. Experience with accounting systems (Pegasus, Sienge, Mega) Perform accounting journal entries and reconciliations for financial transactions, inventory, depreciation, amortization, and income statement accounts (revenues, costs, and expenses). Carry out configuration and integration of tax and payroll modules with accounting. Prepare, review, and analyze ancillary obligations, especially ECD and ECF. Verify compliance of generated information with current accounting standards and practices. Execute all necessary steps for monthly accounting closings. Use accounting systems, preferably Pegasus, Sienge, and/or Mega. General Accounting: proficiency in journal entries, reconciliations, accounting classification, and monthly closing. Accounting Standards: knowledge of current practices (CPCs/IFRS) and ability to interpret standards. Ancillary Obligations: experience with ECD and ECF, including analysis and verification. Accounting Integrations: ability to configure and integrate tax and payroll modules. Financial Statement Analysis: reading and interpretation of trial balances, general ledger, income statements (DRE), and other reports. Accounting Systems: experience with Pegasus, Sienge, and/or Mega (a significant advantage). Excel / Spreadsheet Tools: intermediate level (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced filters). Document and Process Organization: file control, verifications, and audit procedures. Basic Tax and Payroll Knowledge: sufficient to understand integrations and validate received information.
