Job Summary: The Procurement Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling procurement processes for construction projects, ensuring optimal commercial terms and operational efficiency. The Procurement Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services required for the company's construction projects. This role ensures optimal commercial terms, product quality, and adherence to delivery schedules, thereby contributing to project operational efficiency and cost control. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct quotations and negotiations with suppliers of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. * Analyze purchase requisitions originating from construction sites and technical departments. * Compare commercial proposals considering price, delivery lead time, quality, and payment terms. * Issue purchase orders and monitor the entire process until material delivery or service execution. * Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers. * Identify new supply alternatives to reduce costs and improve quality. * Monitor procurement performance indicators (costs, delivery times, savings, service levels). * Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and physical\-financial planning. * Support engineering and planning departments in defining technical specifications and solutions. * Manage contracts with suppliers and service providers. * Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or commercial discrepancies. * Maintain an updated supplier database. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * Prior experience in procurement within the construction industry. * Knowledge of construction materials, construction systems, and construction-related services. * Experience in negotiation and supplier management. * Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. * Organizational skills, analytical ability, and strong communication skills. **Additional Information** * Work location: Granja Viana (On-site) * Meal allowance (VA) * Transportation allowance (VT) or fuel subsidy * Health insurance plan * Parking **WHO WE ARE.
