Monitor changes in tax legislation A Food Products Distributor is seeking a Tax Analyst in Sorocaba. **Responsibilities:** Calculate direct and indirect taxes, such as ISS, ICMS, ICMS ST, PIS, and Cofins. Prepare and submit ancillary tax obligations, including SPED Fiscal, EFD Contributions, DCTF, and DIRF. Perform accounting and tax reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy. Monitor changes in tax legislation relevant to the business. Respond to external audits and tax inspections by providing required documents and clarifications. Analyze, validate, and record fiscal documents for purchases, sales, and services. Assist in formulating tax planning strategies aimed at optimizing the tax burden. Manage fiscal documents and electronic files, ensuring organization and traceability. Perform product classification and tax registration, ensuring correct application of NCM codes and taxes. Provide support to internal and external teams on tax and fiscal matters. Apply knowledge of tax legislation, including ICMS Substitution Tax regulations. Previous experience as a Tax Analyst, Tax Consultant, Fiscal Compliance Specialist, or Tax Analyst may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
