Description
**Job Summary**
The professional will be responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous metal parts, resins, and plastics on conventional lathes. The primary focus is reading technical drawings and preparing the machine to ensure final parts meet exact dimensional and surface finish specifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Setup and Operation:** Set up, adjust, and operate conventional mechanical lathes.
* **Technical Drawing Interpretation:** Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and tolerance specifications.
* **Precision Machining:** Perform facing, external/internal turning, drilling, threading, and boring operations.
* **Quality Control:** Use measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, height gauge, and dial indicator) to verify part dimensions.
* **Preventive Maintenance:** Perform basic machine cleaning and lubrication, and identify when cutting tools (inserts, bits) need replacement.
* **Tool Sharpening:** Sharpen cutting tools according to the material being machined.
**Technical Requirements**
* **Education:** Machining Mechanics training course (SENAI or equivalent).
* **Experience:** Proven experience operating conventional lathes (ROMI, NARDINI, etc.).
* **Metrology:** Full proficiency in linear and angular measuring instruments.
Salary: R$1\.790,67 \- R$4\.205,91 per month
