Serve as a technical reference and support customers Zaraplast is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead innovation and sustainability projects for flexible packaging, working on new product development, process improvement, and technical customer support. **Responsibilities** * Lead innovation and sustainability projects (Zarateva). * Develop new solutions, markets, and applications for flexible packaging. * Research technologies, resins, and suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs. * Serve as a technical reference, supporting customers in problem resolution and approval of new materials. * Coordinate internal activities with Sales, PCP, Extrusion, Printing, Lamination, and Finishing departments. * Participate in trade fairs, global projects, and technology transfer between plants. * Guide team members and support intellectual property initiatives **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Food, Mechanical, Production) or related fields (Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Product Design, Administration, Materials Science, Environmental Sciences, Graphic Printing, or other fields related to packaging). * Solid experience in conversion processes: printing, lamination, forming, and other finishing operations. * Experience in developing sustainable solutions for flexible packaging. * Ability to specify and resolve technical issues during customer conversion or operation. * Knowledge of extrusion processes and raw materials: PE, PP, POP, EVOH, PA, PB\-1, MaH, etc. * Advanced English proficiency. * Willingness to travel (15% to 30%) and valid driver's license. **We Offer:** * Competitive market-based salary; * Bonus Card; * Commuter Allowance and/or Shuttle Service (free) \- Subject to evaluation; * On-site meals; * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * Basic food basket; * Profit-sharing program (PLR); * Commercial partnerships – Educational institutions, pharmacies, leisure facilities, etc. Employment Type: Direct Hire (CLT) Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Basic food basket * Corporate agreements and commercial discounts * Free parking * Profit sharing * Meal allowance * Commuter allowance
