Technically lead the carpentry team, ensuring correct interpretation, planning, and execution of projects, guaranteeing product quality, adherence to deadlines, and optimization of production resources. Serve as the technical reference for preparing cutting plans, developing executive projects, and supporting the operational team. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare cutting plans to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. * Develop and detail technical production drawings, adapting them to factory conditions and processes. * Interpret technical drawings, architectural plans, and executive carpentry projects. * Conduct quantitative material take-offs required for furniture manufacturing. * Guide, supervise, and provide technical support to carpenters during project execution. * Assign tasks according to team members’ technical capabilities and monitor schedule compliance. * Ensure production processes are executed per established quality standards. * Identify and resolve technical issues related to furniture manufacturing, assembly, and finishing. * Monitor production through inspections and ensure product conformity. * Promote continuous improvement of production processes by proposing solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs. * Maintain workplace organization, equipment upkeep, and compliance with safety regulations. **Technical Requirements** * Solid experience in manufacturing custom-built furniture and high-end carpentry. * Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Proficiency in preparing cutting plans. * Experience with material take-offs and production lists. * Knowledge of hardware, materials, construction methods, and finishes. * Understanding of industrial carpentry processes. **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and team development. * Organization and planning. * Clear and concise communication. * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail. * Commitment to quality and deadlines. * Teamwork. **Education** * Completed High School. * A Technical Course in Carpentry, Furniture Design, Building Construction, or related fields is considered an advantage. **Experience** * Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience; prior experience in technical leadership or team coordination roles is desirable.
