Serve as a technical reference in building self-service solutions, ensuring consumer teams' autonomy and operational excellence. Actively participate in the API COE, contributing strategic vision, knowledge dissemination, and cross-functional technical alignment to advance organizational maturity and governance in API usage. **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- * Develop the API platform's evolution strategy through analysis of user requirements and needs; * Define development, exposure, security, scalability, and stability standards for APIs; * Create guardrails to ensure optimal use of the API platform; * Implement and support implementation by other team members of API platform features and services as defined in the strategy; * Ensure, via a self-service model, the tools and services required for API platform usage, monitoring, and tracking; * Collaborate closely with other Platform Engineering team members to ensure integration and operation with pipelines and other tools and systems; * Support and assist all API platform services alongside other team members; * Build observability mechanisms across all services and abstractions to rapidly identify and resolve incidents or instability; * Monitor metrics demonstrating the quality and stability of API platform services and abstractions; * Present new API platform features and standards through presentations. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; * Experience in Technical Leadership; * Solid experience supporting, administering, deploying, or architecting an API Gateway (e.g., Axway, Kong, Amazon API Gateway, Apigee); * Experience with API authentication/authorization: OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, etc.; * In-depth knowledge of API design and documentation using the OpenAPI 3.x standard; * Experience developing in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python); * Experience with Kubernetes and public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.; * Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools; * API Governance: Usage policies, lifecycle management, security, standardization; * Monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, etc. #### **Nice-to-Haves:** * Experience applying AI in the API governance lifecycle; * Knowledge of Cognito and Karpenter; * AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and/or Kubernetes certification; * Certification in any API Gateway; * Familiarity with platforms for building self-service capabilities via IDP (Internal Developer Platform) and/or pipelines; * Knowledge of the AsyncAPI specification. **Additional Information** -------------------------- **WHAT WE OFFER?** * Alelo Food and Alelo Meal benefits; * Mobility benefits for hybrid work models (Public Transportation Voucher, Commuter Bus Reimbursement, Fuel Voucher, and Toll Voucher); * Alelo Culture benefit; * Private Pension Plan; * Profit Sharing Program (PPR); * Bradesco Health and Dental Insurance; * Daycare/Babysitter Allowance; * Zenklub; * Gympass/Wellhub; * Life Insurance; * Livelo Points rewards, plus discounts on our products; * Education Incentive (postgraduate programs, MBAs, English courses) after 1 year of employment; * Birthday Day Off for employees and half-day off for children's birthdays; * Happy Friday (leaving 1 hour earlier on Fridays) and Summer Dreams (leaving 4 hours earlier on summer Fridays); * On-site massage, manicure, and barber services; * Office coffee and fruits; * Recognition Program; * Creative, challenging, and relaxed work environment, recognized as one of the best companies to work for by GPTW 2024.
