Employ resources such as kinesiotherapy, electrothermotherapy, mechanotherapy, respiratory physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation, and other techniques to treat diseases, sequelae, and other conditions in patients hospitalized in general wards and adult and pediatric ICUs, aiming to recover or alleviate the consequences of such diseases. **Responsibilities and duties** * Prescribe and perform cardiorespiratory and neuro\-musculoskeletal therapy for critically ill or potentially critical patients; * Apply methods, techniques, and resources for pulmonary expansion, secretion removal, muscle strengthening, cardiorespiratory reconditioning, and ventilatory support for critically ill or potentially critical patients; * Implement hospital infection control measures; * Perform bed positioning, sitting, standing, ambulation, and plan and execute strategies for adaptation, readaptation, guidance, and training of clients/patients/users, aiming at maximizing functionality of critically ill or potentially critical patients; * Evaluate and monitor cardiorespiratory parameters, including during patient transport; * Assess the implementation of non-invasive ventilatory support; manage spontaneous, invasive, and non-invasive ventilation; * Evaluate the health condition of critically ill or potentially critical patients for withdrawal of invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support; perform weaning from mechanical ventilation; * Maintain functionality and management of natural and artificial airways; * Evaluate and titrate oxygen therapy and inhalation therapy; * Determine criteria for physiotherapy discharge; * Prescribe physiotherapy discharge; * Document consultations, assessments, diagnoses, prognoses, treatments, progress, interconsultations, complications, and physiotherapy discharges in patient records; * Issue opinions and reports; R * Conduct educational activities at all levels of healthcare, and in the prevention of environmental and occupational risks. * Participate in meetings with the multidisciplinary team to discuss clinical cases of patients in order to promote greater benefits regarding treatment and procedures; * Guide patients and/or family members on positioning, mobilization, and specific care at home for dependent patients with severe diseases, sequelae, or bedridden conditions. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy; * Active CREFITO registration; * Specialization in Respiratory/Hospital Physiotherapy; * Experience in adult and pediatric hospital settings is desirable; * Computer skills. **Additional information** Work schedule: 5x2 shift from 07:00 to 13:00\. **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a nonprofit civil association of a philanthropic nature, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility in its headquarters city, respectively by decrees no. 57\.925, dated 04/03/1966, 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\.
