Required Technical KnowledgeMicrobiology · Aseptic techniques on benchtop and in biological safety cabinets. · Preparation and sterilization of culture media (liquid and solid). · Isolation, cultivation, and maintenance of microorganisms (especially bacteria and fungi). · Inoculation, subculturing, viable cell counting (CFU), and microbial growth evaluation techniques. · Culture purity assessment and contamination control. · Knowledge of microbial preservation methods (glycerol, lyophilization, or cryopreservation). Chemistry · Handling of chemical reagents and preparation of solutions at various concentrations. · Dilution, molarity, normality, and buffer preparation calculations. · Interpretation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safe handling of chemicals. · Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry applied to quality control of raw materials and products (pH, conductivity, total solids, etc.). · Basic knowledge of titration techniques and nutrient quantification. · Familiarity with regulations governing disposal and treatment of chemical and biological waste. Requirements · Technical or higher education degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields. · Prior experience in microbiology laboratories or bioinput production is a plus. · Organization, attention to detail, and planning ability. · Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
