Job Summary: An industrial ironworker fabricates, assembles, maintains, and repairs metal structures in industrial environments, interprets technical drawings, and ensures quality and safety. Commitment to deadlines, quality, and workplace safety. **Description:** ---------------- The industrial ironworker must have prior experience performing industrial ironworking services, including fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of metal structures, supports, grilles, piping, machine guards, and other metal components used in industrial environments. Fabrication and Assembly Cutting, bending, and welding of metal sheets, tubes, and profiles (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.). Assembly and installation of metal structures such as platforms, stairs, handrails, guardrails, and industrial supports. Interpretation of technical drawings and mechanical schematics for component and structure fabrication. Maintenance and Repairs Restoration and maintenance of existing metal structures on machinery, equipment, and building frameworks. Replacement of metal parts damaged by corrosion, impact, or wear. Reinforcement of structures and modifications in accordance with technical and safety standards. Welding Performing welds using MIG, TIG, shielded metal arc, and other welding processes. Joint preparation, cleaning, finishing, and visual inspection of welds. Knowledge of welding procedures and best safety practices. Safety and Quality Compliance with occupational safety regulations (e.g., use of PPE, area signage, etc.). Ensuring dimensional and aesthetic quality of structures. Support during inspections and audits related to structural integrity. **Requirements:** ----------------- Desired professional profile Elementary education — Secondary education or technical training preferred Qualification or certification course as an ironworker/welder. Proven experience in an industrial environment; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Knowledge of welding techniques, thermal cutting (oxy-fuel torch, plasma), grinding, and assembly. Familiarity with NR-18, NR-33, and NR-35 regulations — desirable. Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces, when required. Attention to detail and focus on safety.
