Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment, inspecting and assembling mechanical and electrical parts. Organize and lead operational shifts aiming at the highest quality of the final product and cost minimization. Responsible for executing preventive maintenance plans (industrial and building) and ensuring maximum mechanical and electrical availability of equipment/unit. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and electrical equipment, repairing and inspecting damaged installations. Develop and implement improvements and solutions for equipment and industrial processes, aiming to increase availability, productivity, and safety. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspect and assemble mechanical and electrical parts of machines and equipment; * Evaluate and execute maintenance plans (preventive and corrective) on equipment used for industrial waste valorization – class I and class II, aiming at continuous operational improvement and cost optimization; * Handle electric tools, electric and MIG welding, oxy\-cutting, clean and analyze the integrity and quality of parts; * Ensure organization and cleanliness of the work environment; * Consult technical manuals, interpret drawings, projects, and catalogs; * Work according to technical standards and procedures, quality, safety, and demonstrate mastery of specific technical knowledge in the area; * Monitor maintenance indicators; * Verify replacement part requirements and forward requests to the Manager; * Perform related tasks as requested by immediate supervision; * Carry out preventive/corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical machines and equipment installed in production areas, according to scheduled plans and/or service requests; * Perform electrical adjustments, replacing damaged components, inspecting, building and repairing electrical wiring and other related activities as needed; * Complete service orders and service requests according to performed services; * Perform various tasks at heights above 02 meters that involve fall risks; * Perform activities in confined spaces; * Perform activities in areas storing flammable waste and fuels; * Perform activities involving low-voltage electricity at 440V; * Occasionally perform activities in medium-voltage areas at 23\.800V or 23\.8kV, and preventive maintenance on cabins and substations; * Contact with chemical substances (oils and greases); * Perform welding and cutting of metal structures; * Perform maintenance on mobile equipment such as forklifts and excavators, and operate them if necessary, provided proper certification and authorization; **Requirements and qualifications** High school diploma, technical degree in mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields (with proven experience in the field) 5 years of experience in maintenance.
