




Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to the Marketing Department, assisting in the execution of the hotel's marketing plan. Key Highlights: 1. Marketing Coordinator **Primary Responsibilities and Purpose of the Role** This position reports directly to the Hotel’s Director of Marketing and is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Marketing Department, as well as assisting in the execution of the marketing plan. **Keys to Success:** * Maintain close alignment with the hotel’s marketing team, including the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing. * Successfully execute tactical elements of the marketing strategy. * Possess strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. ### **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** **Supporting Tactical Marketing Execution** **Branding and Positioning:** Works with the DOSM (Director of Sales and Marketing) and DOM (Director of Marketing) to execute messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies. Assists in delivering content aligned with brand standards. **Content and Materials:** Leads the execution and updating of all internal and external marketing communications, including (but not limited to): official website (Brand.com), secondary website (where applicable), third-party websites, social media, images, and copy. Collaborates with the DOSM to coordinate all marketing photo shoots at the hotel. **Digital Marketing:** Collaborates with the DOSM and DOM on the creation and execution of digital strategies, participating in agency meetings. Works with the DOM on analyzing digital reports and is responsible for the hotel’s Koddi platform (managing Amplify and Elevate campaigns). **Social Media:** If the hotel does not have a social media agency, this role is responsible for posting and maintaining social media accounts, ensuring adherence to the posting plan and calendar. If an agency is engaged, this role supports the DOSM and DOM by timely delivery of materials to the agency. **Reputation Management:** As needed, assists with posting and responding to reviews on sites such as TripAdvisor, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others. **Materials and Content Creation:** Develops and updates small-scale internal design projects, such as sales newsletters, brochures, internal communication materials, and in-room TV content. **Public Relations Support:** Coordinates press visits, confirms itineraries, organizes hotel tours, and distributes press kits. ### **Administrative Support** * Works with the marketing team to prioritize daily activities and support the execution of larger projects. * Assists in processing invoices and payments for marketing initiatives. * Supports requests from other departments (e.g., restaurant or spa), including menu edits, internal materials, and updates. ### **SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS** In addition to essential functions, this role may perform other complementary activities as needed by the hotel and under leadership guidance, such as: * Attending weekly meetings and other operational meetings. * Supporting special projects assigned by leadership. * Executing other tasks requested by management. * Maintaining positive relationships with other departments and colleagues. ### **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** **Required:** * Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English for interaction with guests, clients, and team members. * Proficiency in computer applications and internet tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). * Experience with CMS platforms. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of 360° marketing and social media tools. **Preferred:** * Graphic design knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. ### **QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS** **Education:** * Completed high school (mandatory). * Two- or four-year college degree (preferred), preferably in Marketing or Public Relations. **Experience:** * Prior experience is not required. * Previous experience in hospitality or tourism will be considered a plus.
