Select appropriate tools for each stage of the machining process. Configure and adjust machining machines for part manufacturing. Perform part machining while monitoring cutting parameters and surface finish quality. Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Previous experience as a Milling Machine Operator, Machinist, Machine Operator, or Precision Mechanic may indicate suitability for some activities of this position. High school diploma required.
