Prepare and operate CNC machines, including milling machines, drilling machines, and machining centers. Adjust machining parameters. Load raw materials into the machine and verify workpiece clamping in fixtures. Monitor machine operation and machining processes, identifying potential failures or deviations. Correct and/or request corrections to the CNC program when necessary. Perform tool setup and replacement according to the machining plan. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Record production data and incidents on appropriate forms. Notify maintenance teams for preventive and corrective machine maintenance when required. Previous experience as a CNC Programmer, Machining Operator, Precision Mechanical Technician, or CNC Cutting Specialist may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities associated with this position.
