Teamwork and proactive problem-solving. **Job Mission** Perform technical-operational support activities in the triage and processing of pathological anatomy samples, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality and safety standards. **Requirements** * Completed high school education (technical laboratory or related field coursework preferred). * Basic knowledge of pathological anatomy and good laboratory practices. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols. **Behavioral Competencies** * Responsibility and commitment to quality and deadlines. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Proactive problem-solving. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive samples and test requests, verify data, and register them in the system. * Assess sample suitability for macroscopic analysis and perform low-complexity macroscopy. * Identify non-conformities, direct corrective actions, and contact clients when necessary. * Request specimen collections and monitor tests performed by third parties. * Prepare and schedule tissue processors, assign production batches, and embed tissues in paraffin blocks. * Perform cytological and histological staining, prepare solutions, and process cytology specimens (conventional and liquid-based). * Deliver slides for digital pathology and assist in the handling of archived blocks and slides. * Clean glassware, sanitize equipment, and prepare chemical waste disposal. * Complete quality control documentation (reagent replacement, temperature monitoring, solution preparation). * Adhere to technical-operational procedures and safety standards, properly using PPE.
