Job Summary: As an Android Software Engineer, you will design, code, test, and operate applications that simplify and enhance our customers' lives. Key Highlights: 1. As an Android Software Engineer, you will design, code, test and operate applications that evolve and become seamlessly integrated into our customers' daily lives — participating in API creation, backend integration, and helping prioritize evolution based on maximum business value. We face massive scalability challenges, handling over 30 million orders per month, 13 million users, and more than 100,000 active restaurants. **Your Daily Menu** ----------------------- * Collaborate in the definition of concepts such as project-wide coding style guides * Build quick prototypes to prove concepts * Enforce quality during code review and maintenance practices * Debug performance issues in apps and bottlenecks in CI lanes; integrate with third-party APIs * Efficiently scale components through tuning and/or major refactorings * Conceptualize and develop components for a monorepo mobile app **Ingredients We Seek** ----------------------------- * You possess a strong sense of ownership, treating every project as if it were your own * You thrive in fast-growing, dynamic environments * Solid experience building high-performance, scalable applications * Solid experience with the latest versions of Java or Kotlin * Experience integrating with REST APIs natively using Retrofit **About Us** ------------- At iFood, we believe diversity drives \#Innovation and delivers \#OutstandingResults.
