We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at the construction materials store. This is a key position to ensure the organization and efficient flow of our materials and products. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in warehouse management, ensuring that all processes are carried out accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for organizing and controlling inventory, conducting stocktaking, and ensuring products are always available as needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with the logistics team for handling and transporting goods, ensuring everything is in order and complies with established standards. For this role, it is essential that you possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Flexibility in working hours is a fundamental requirement, as the job may involve rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on company needs. What you will deliver: Store products on shelves; Inspect packaging weight and pallet strapping; Check product quality and expiration dates; Follow standard storage methods according to product type and layout; Rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method; Assist in loading support materials onto trucks after unloading goods when required; Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization; Pick goods for inter-store transfers; Organize, prepare, and assemble pallets according to products released by the sorter, ensuring required product quality—including inter-store transfers; Organize, collect, and unitize boxes alongside pallets; Verify all product-related processes—including expiration dates, quantities, and brands—to ensure essential quality; Handle receipt, control, and dispatch of plastic crates, pallets, and support materials; perform dispatch, vehicle loading, and unloading.
