Plaster Technician

Description

A hospital management company is seeking a Plaster Technician in Cotia. **Responsibilities:** Perform orthopedic immobilization procedures according to medical prescriptions, using appropriate techniques for application and removal of plaster and other immobilization devices. Prepare and organize necessary materials and equipment for immobilization procedures. Instruct patients and their companions regarding care for immobilizations, monitoring signs of discomfort or complications. Assist the medical team in orthopedic procedures and trauma-related consultations. Perform cleaning, maintenance, and organization of materials and the workplace. Document performed procedures in accordance with institutional routines and protocols. Comply with institutional safety standards, infection control measures, and best clinical practices. Previous experience as a Plaster Assistant, Plaster Installer, Plaster Assembler, or Plaster Specialist may indicate familiarity with some of the activities associated with this position.
