Senior Accounting Analyst

**About the opportunity:** We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in the company’s accounting processes. We are looking for an analytical, organized individual with strong technical expertise who enjoys working autonomously and contributing to continuous process improvement. **Responsibilities:** * Perform accounting reconciliations and ensure correct account classification; * Prepare and analyze balance sheets, trial balances, and financial statements; * Execute monthly accounting closings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines; * Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications; * Monitor and reconcile assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues; * Analyze journal entries and propose adjustments when necessary; * Serve internal departments by addressing queries and providing guidance on accounting procedures; * Participate in process improvement and standardization, including systems and internal controls; * Track auxiliary accounting obligations. Requirements: **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences or related fields; * Prior experience as a Senior Accounting Analyst or in similar roles; * Knowledge of reconciliations, accounting closings, and financial statements; * Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with Totvs/Protheus is desirable); **Desired competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail; * Analytical mindset and proactive attitude; * Strong interpersonal communication skills; * Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
