Process Auditing and Risk Management The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the physical security of retail establishments by monitoring the entry/exit of people and goods to prevent theft, fraud, damage, and internal losses. * **Monitoring and Security:** Monitor customer and staff flow; conduct physical patrols to deter criminal activities. * **Inventory Control:** Conduct inventories, inspect for damages, and verify product inflow and outflow to ensure asset integrity. * **Process Auditing:** Verify compliance with operational procedures, especially at checkout counters (opening and closing). * **Approach and Reporting:** Conduct preventive approaches toward suspects when necessary and prepare detailed incident reports. * **Risk Management:** Identify process weaknesses that lead to losses (operational breakdowns).
